I didn't say he gained anything. I said he had a vested interest in lying to prevent him losing compensation from being sacked and potentially being included in a costly lawsuit.

Bear in mind that the LMA have issued a statement of JM's behalf saying he's done nothing wrong. I've yet to see anything in writing from Gorman saying the same thing.

Not sure how many more times I need to say this, but if any of the management team were in the changing room when the incident occurred, if they did nothing to stop it, they will be guilty of gross misconduct and be dismissed without compensation. They will also be liable to be included in any legal action as a result.

To put it simply, Gorman has a vested interest in supporting Magilton and lying.

I think the real problem is this:

Had we'd beaten Middlesborough and Watford convincingly with good results and a good performance would Magilton be under the spot light? No of course not, it sounds more to me that it's player power and maybe a number of them are just unhappy under his management, the headbutt excuse is just all it is to have reason to suspend him. Very similar to Holloway, just an excuse to get rid where he probably hasn't done anything wrong.

As mentioned, Magiltons days here at QPR are over, so I guess we'll have to put this season on hold and start again next year.

We couldnt have beaten Boro and Watford:bad_egg: with his chopping and changing of players. Hence his problems now.

He's free to drop whoever he likes if he thinks there not performing and in the last 5 or 6 games its been clear that playing buzsaky outwide wasn't working so he left him out his choice rightly or wrongly.

That is true and I was originally on jim's side with this. However, I think the issue is that he picks team, then make changes and then has audacity to have a fit at buz who was only on pitch for 15 mins. According to some, not the first time he's had a fit post game. If the player reaction is to complain then that shows lack of respect, which for me comes from Jim doing this once too often and also maybe picking on certain individuals? Also, one to throw out there, didn't Jim have similar problems at Ipswich?

At the end of the day, if all the players say they dont want JM anymore the board will have to let him go, headbutt or no headbutt....

First off there is no reason to assume that JMs 'fit' at Buz was anything to do with his performance vs Watford, from various reports regarding Buz it could well be related to Buz's attitude in the dressing room and in the days and weeks leading up to it.

The idea that Gorman is culpable too for the alleged assault (and I imagine the highly exaggerated incident) is laughable. If I witness a crime do I have stand trial too because I didn't try to stop it?

Gorman may be standing by JM for his career but I find that hard to believe. More likely he is ****ed off my the baby antics of so called professional footballers who think the world revolves around them. Football is a mans game and if the allegations of a head-butt are proved to be untrue then Buz should be kicked out asap.

Jim had problems at ipswich with his temper and management of players according to couple of ipswich mates. Lightning doesn't striker twice.

Missing the point old son. If he was simply a private citizen or passerby, he'd have no responsibility at all.

But in this instance, he was (presumably) the next most senior member of club management present in the changing room after Magilton. And if he witnesses one member of club staff assaulting another and takes no action to try to prevent it, the assaulted member of staff may well have a case to say that Gorman had a duty of care to him which he neglected.
