Yes they will. Managers will take jobs - always.

Especially if they are out of work. Steve Coppell is worth at least approaching IMHO.

      ^^^^ is the correct answer!

I thought for a second then Scott meant George Graham. I started to palpitate!

Coppell would be awesome in a proggressive openminded football club like Reading, but with our overbearing chairmen and football director like ours he would be well wasted.

Buz is also considering pressing charges apparently. Why can't WE press charges when the club robs us every week?

Well he managed to make something of a defence including Bob Malcom, The problem with GG was the attacking football followed by trying to sit back, and then a lack of fitness meaning late goals being conceded

The players have been robbing us recently with disgraceful performances, maybe we can sue them!!

They would counter sue for intimidating behavior at work when they get booed. Hall would win a packet after some fans chanted OFF OFF OFF at Watford haha.

We need a big name manager, someone who's been there done it, not some second rate, supposedly up and coming manager like magilton or dowie. No we need someone that will control that dressing room, we need coppell or curbs!!

We could have Ferguson, Wenger, or Alf Ramsey and it wouldn't matter as long as the board pick and run the team.

I don't see why not, we're a club languishing just beyond the playoffs. A club that's shown what we're capable of this season. We have a great team, arguably the best in the league. So it would be good for a manager like Curbs or Coppell to come in here.

Although if you asked me this time last year I would have said there's no way a manager like that would consider joining us.

indeed..the whole media has us down as short life expectancy for a manager so that will scare a lot away..
i said yesterday prepare for Wise if we sack JM but today and yesterday are worlds apart now.

If we're going for a British manager, i would like to see us approach Darren Ferguson, who is currently out of work. Personally i would like to see us go all out and try and get Roberto Mancini, who is also out of work and now lives in west london..
