it was a process that was not allowed to develop properly

And certain members hardly helped keep Sousa here with their posts.He did the hard work of making us hard to beat.He just needed more time to develop our attack.And failure to bring in strikers and then loan our top scorer hardly helped.

This club seems to make hard work for itself.

Over Christmas, if we win on Boxing Day, I would not be wanting to change the team 2 days later. Magilton over-reacted to the defeat against Boro and threw all the good work before that out the window. He now has a few unhappy players at the club because of not being able to be consistent with team selection

I assume the unhappy players dont include Hall, he must be delighted he can perform awful then keep his place!

Is Magilton ever going to be our manager in the Premiership (I know, I am dreaming). The answer is no. Why appoint him then in the first place. He is never of the calibre we need.

And we were useless under Sousa too, before people start that.

How about a manager with some passion and common sense.

Re Sousa, almost every successful team starts with a strong defence. Something that someone who has played and won at the very top level of international football would know.

It's also a lot easier to command respect from egos when you can show them your medals and point to your achievements and say "So what have you won?".

The board (and quite a few on here) are obviously ignorant of the fact that every single succesful team builds a defence first and foremost. Shows just how little Flabio knows about football...

we drew at home to coventry and lost to Donny before the Boro game,so hardly "threw all the good work before that out the window",and being sensible about it we havent played well as a team(INCLUDES the defence) in ages.

It seems 'move on,he's gone' is becoming an all to familiar scenario.All managers need time time to develop their ideas into results.It's just that we expect,or rather the board do,instant success.Which rarely happens.Take Man City as a prime example,they have thrown an absolute fortune at the club and now Hughes is under pressure already,with men like Mourinho in the wings.

These non-football chairmen really do not understand football at all.

2 games in 3 days is not an excuse. Watford played the same and even had to travel to and from Newcastle for theie weekend game.

Magilton screwed up by dropping thre of the team's top scorers as a result of a poor defensive game against Boro.

He overreacted to that defeat, Yes QPR were poor at Doncaster, but were actually quite good against Coventry, apart from two defensive errors (largely down to Magilton's constant tinkering).

I would even say that the Doncaster performance could be blamed on Magilton for shifting Faurlin to the left wing to accomodate Reid.

Last night - it is not a coincidence that QPR were better for the last 10-15 minutes after Taarabt, Simpson and the Buzsaky got to play.


seeing as Sousa has been mentioned, I will add that I thought the football under him was dull, but at least QPR were not getting humilated and it can be argued that if he had the services of Faurlin, Taarabt, Buzsaky, Simpson, Routledge, and a fully fit Vine, he could have got better results than Magilton.

If you don't concede goals, you don't loose the game. I would take a boring 1-0 win and three points over a game where we play perfect free flowing football, have 85% of the possession and loose 1-0.

Agree football is about winning last time i heard, not playing pretty football and drawing and losing games you should be winning.

Mentioned our dodgy defence a few weeks ago and got slated the warning signs where their a couple weeks ago and what is it now 12goals in 4games....
