I have no respect at all for the guy, but he is a decent player and could do a great job.

Still don't like the guy though.

I mentioned this 3 months back.

He doesn't want £40k a week. He'd do it for a similar wage to our top earners plus a humungous signing on fee and bonus if we got in the play offs or promoted.

He'd sit down and listen, that's for sure but I'm not sure he'd represent good value.

hes not worth that sort of money, hes a donkey now, look how he played at notts county. IF he was any good he would still be playing in the prem or championship not drop down a few leagues.

for me - getting out of this divion requires 2 or 3 experienced players like this. I dont care what people say about them being "old". We just need them to get us into the premiership, and we can build from there. Most teams that do well, have good experienced players like this in their side.

I recall reading he played 1 game for them. I don't think you can read too much into his ability based on that.

If he was offered a pay per game deal with a huge bonus if QPR go up, he might be interested and could be very good.

He is far better than Stewart or Hall and could form a very good partnership with Gorkss.

If I was JM, I would definitley speak to him about joining in January.

Much better than anything we;ve got at the moment.

Has great experience and will raise our profile to other players as well.

Apparently he was dire in the one game that he played for Notts County, and can't have had any opportunity to get his form back since then. So, no thanks!
