It does make me laugh how Connolly has become a bad player after missing one header. If you watched the rest of the game he played well and won his headers. Defence is not the problem, its the system being played where there is no holding midfielder and the wide players dont track back.

He didnt say he was a bad player, he said hes not as solid as Gorkks. What he probably means by that is in the air. He said MC is a good footballer.

How about Martin Taylor at Birmingham? He is out of contract in the summer, isn't a first team regular and is with Base Soccer which always helps.

How about just playing Connolley and Gorkks until one of them get injured or suspended, then drop in Stewart. We will not win anything by chopping and changing the back four every week, just because JM has a hissey fit.
