I was told the other day that we had "no chance" of signing Roberts. I think he would be perfect for us - probs about £2.5 million plus a handsome wage.

If we are serious, buying someone of his calibre would be the proof we all need.

More than our board are willing to pay on a striker! ...for what's it worth though would be a great signing and we could probably get him for a similar price to Beckford and would be a better signing.
