Thoughts from BBC man David M

    Magilton's defensive choice

Jim Magilton was as angry as I’ve seen him after Saturday’s draw against Coventry.

If Magilton thinks Hall is a better passer than Gorkss then he has major problems and so do we in the long run.

I know, it's bad enough that he thinks Borrowdale is a CCC left back.

very well written and its obvious Magilton prefers Hall over Gorkkss. Trouble is, if you follow the pattern of this season, I would expect Hall and Gorkss to be centre pairing this Saturday. Thats a shame, as I'm sure Connolly will be blamed and benched for his mistake on the Best goal.

As for Watson, we might want to sign him, but if a premiership club comes in for him, then Wigan will want to maiximise the fee to the max

Think Hall is one our worst distributors of a football. Always seems to hoof it.

I agree completely, he is the worst passer of the ball except perhaps Ramage.

I think you are right regarding Connolly there Mr Qblock, although its funny how many including obviously Magilton are forgeting him clearing one from under our own cross bar and also diving to block 2 great Cov chances.

Yes he got beat in the air from what hardly looked a threatening position or header for that matter but i suppose thats just the way it is.

I thought he did very well other then that header and he did beat Best in probably 85% of the headers including the corner right at the end.
