why was he ever signed?

He maybe a reasonable goalscorer (hard to tell if he doesn't play),but is very slow and isn't suited to QPR's style under Magilton, so who made the decision to sign him?

a) then why doesn't he select him to play
b) play a style that suits him, i.e. lots of crosses into the penalty area

I think the deal was more down to Paladini and not Magilton. perhaps it was a compromise deal with Magilton choosing Faurlin and Paladini - Pellicori.
