Lost 5-3. Pellicori scored two goals and youngster Sam Bewick got the third.

A Palace coach was the referee and two of their academy players acted as linesmen. According to Keith Ryan three of Palace's goals should have been ruled out.

So a moral 3-2 win for QPR then!!!

Should Pellicori get a chance against Coventry alongside Simpson?

And all of Pelicori's goals were offside, but they gave him the benefit of the doubt as he will never do anything like that in the first team.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

I think Pellicori is very slow and not suited to the way QPR play.

However, if QPR were to play him for the last 20 mins or so and get crosses into the box, I think he is capable of scoring.

I am not sure I will ever really understand the thinking that went on when he was signed.

I know he played in the friendlies, and even scored a few goals in the games he featured in, but surely JM noticed how slow he was and given that he knew how he wanted QPR to play, why was Pellicorio signed?

Being cheap or free is not an acceptable reason for signing a player that is clearly not suited to the tactics the team will play.
