Firstly, his reputation and prestige is now in the toilet, particularly by the lack of class he showed after the game, trying to make out that the ball just hit his arm but it wasnt deliberate, when all the camera angles clearly show the contrary; then attempting to abdicate responsibilty by saying it was down to the referee.
Secondly, he's now a shadow of the player he once was.
Thirdly, it wouldn't at all surprise or dissapoint me if he was roundly booed for 90 minutes by most opposition fans everytime he touched the ball.
So for those reasons, no, I wouldnt want him at our club.
