egham, rumour is (not know for fact) is more nearer to 4k a week. They are a Division 1 side and his contract has not improved. I do know for a fact, Beckford wants to leave, open to question is whether we want him or not.

Wouldn't mind either, but its a bigger step up for Beckford than what people think.

Lets be honest,Beckford would be a way better signing,but unfortunetly would cost alot more and that is the deciding factor in this,pity as signing Beckford would show REAL intent.Best will be a squad player only.

Seen Beckford a few times and he has Premiership potential. Seen Best a few times and he has potential to be half decent at Championship level. We should sign Beckford if at all possible. Great first touch, footballing brain, quick and sharp in front of goal. I really don't think he would find the step up to Championship difficult. What he may be looking for is a bigger club than us.
