    Makes Selection Simple, I suppose...

With the injuries to Vine, Mahon, Rowlands, Cook, Hall, Stewart(?)... as well as Heaton going back, it doesn't leave many places up for debate in the starting 11 does it?

    Cerny
    Williams
    Connolly
    Gorkks
    Leigertwood
    Faurlin
    Watson
    Routledge
    Buzsaky
    Taarabt
    Simpson

I suppose the Williams/Bozza debate is alive with some people, but I'd be amazed if the starting 11 for Doncaster wasn't the above.

Doesn't leave much of a bench though right now.
    Ramage
    Agyemang
    Ephraim
    GK(?)
    Borrowdale
    Alberti
    Ainsworth
    Pellicori
    ????

    Roll on january.

I agree. the bench is not what it was 3 weeks ago though.

I think Taarabt is better on the left because it is left crowded and he can skin defenders then cut in or cross, with Buzz behind Simpson, as he has the brains to do the right thing regarding passing and shooting.

    ----------------- Cerny ------------------
    Leigertwood-Gorkks-Connolly-Williams
    Routledge - Faurlin - Watson - Taarabt
    ----------------- Buzsaky ----------------
    ---------- Simpson -----------------------

on paper at least, i'd say that's the strongest 11 we have... imo. hope we go with that.

Well Williams is more likely to bomb on down the left than Borrowdale was... so you need a LM to have the discipline to cover for him occasionally when The Tomster overlaps.
Not sure Taarabt is cut out for that role.

More like Buzsaky on the left, and Taarabt as the support forward for Simpson.

I suppose Vine is only out for a couple of games, and you also have the slightly strange option of Borrowdale in an occasional left midfield role.... because what he is very good at is passing, first touch and linking up with other midfielders.

And yes... that was actually a compliment to GB from me!
