How about talking about previous QPR vs whoever matches. So if we are playing Palace for instance you could talk about how we did last season, 5 years ago, 10 years ago.

You could always talk about that day in QPR's history. Wouldn't be difficult to find out who we played on a particular match and talk about either the game or one particular player.
