Hammer are you on here to remember what success feels like?
Seriously you might as well give up with west ham.
They should be fine in the championship and I can't see them doing a leeds but if you want to continue watching premiership football your need to try the w12 postcode.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Would be a huge improvement on our current non-scoring strikers.

Would that be Jay Simpson you are referring to as a non-scoring striker ?
Although i do agree Aaron Mclean would be a good signing.

This is where clunge tells you 'yes, but he's not 'ours' is he?'

Anyway, McLeand would certainly improve Aggy and Pelicori, but I'd sooner have Boyd.

Can't see it happening tbh. He signed a new four year contract last summer and when he was put on the transfer list at his own request P'boro wanted 3m and I can't see us paying that.
He is a quality player and although small is well built, quick and could play as a target man and is a clinical finisher.I have seen him play a fair few times.
Leon Best is a more likely signing as contract up next summer. 7 in 15 is agood return, can play upfront as a two or alone and is tall and strong. Him and Simpson would be good together.
Some may say his scoring has not always been as impressive this season but he is in the ireland squad and in current form better than Dave and Vine so a decent addition.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

Boyd please. Though effectively we'd need to drop one of Buzsacky, Routledge or Taarabt to fit him in. Maybe when Taarabt leaves in Jan ? Kidding!

McLean is a good player though. A younger leaner version of Agyemang who, crucially, scores goals.

Leon Best is useless - didn't we have some disciplinary issues with him when he was here last?

Boyd is only ever going to be a squad player, whilst we have Buzz and Routledge at the club I'd take Mclean like a shot, best player on the pitch for me in the game earlier this season, sharp, movement, good strength, only downside is he is a bit small

Boyd is class but he's an attacking mid not a striker. I think we have enough attacking mids.

Suspect this is just Peterborough fans throwing their rattles out of the pram as they are dismayed by the two departures already this week. Doesn't sound as if there is any firm evidence to suggest we are after Mclean, but wd be v happy to be proved wrong...

                          Kris Boyd.....an attacking midfielder?!!!!!

Think you've got the wrong player Morris. Kris Boyd is an out and out striker!

                            George Boyd. Peterborough midfielder/striker.

                            Stan Bowles in waiting.

thought the irons looked quite good the other night on TV. Don't know why they don't start with that Italian sub who almost turned the game. Wouldn't mind snaffling him if the Hammers don't escape the old trap door.
