  • Heaton loan is due to expire

apparently heaton's loan is due to expire shortly

he told manutd.com: 'QPR is a very good club.

'I get on with all the players and the staff have been excellent. It's been a touch frustrating to have played just two games, but that's football sometimes.

unfortunately i cant find the article on the man u website

    should we keep him ?

maybe elvis should make the step upto first team?

      50-50 call.

His contract ends with man Utd end of the season, no point in splashing out 400k January

Putnins on the bench (Looks good enough if we need him).. sign Heaton is the summer for free.. simples
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

IMO he will sign again on loan until end of season then we will offer him a permanent deal in the summer.

Because he has even less of a chance of ever making it with United?

Cerny is close to retirement age. All Heaton has to do is bide his time and with for one more mess up from Cerny he'd be in.

Pete is right that we shouldn't spend 400k now if we can get him for free next summer but if we do get promoted I think we will look for an even higher calibre of keeper than Heaton.

He has time on his side.Cerny has maybe one more season after this.Young keepers know that it takes longer to become established as a regular than an outfield player due to the longer career they have. Most keepers don't peak until around late 20's/30.
