I did not know that Zeshan Reh'man was born in South Asia.

I always thought the best player from the sub continent was Baichung Bhutia actually born there and played in the indian league and also for Bury, signed by no other than the current Crystal Palace manager at the time Neil Warnock.

Bhutia, was a Bury player and at the time captain of the Indian national team was a flop in England.

However, still in my opinion the best player so far to come from the Indian subcontinent (born and bred) or South Asia as you call it.

He was a prolific striker and in footballing terms a Sachin Tendulkar in his sport.
