Had a drink with an old mate last night who is doing some behind the scenes work for the club.Asked a few questions and got a few answers.

Jim been told he needs to get rid of some players to get more in.
They are looking but need to be better than we already have.(Left back,Forward)

Micheal Ball -wanted to much money

Jermaine Beckford - wants to come to Rangers as he's a fan but Bates is trying to hang on to him.

Gary Hooper - still interested in him, player plus cash deal but none of our players interested in going to S****horpe.

thanks for that hemel - wd be delighted with either beckford or hooper plus a left back.

think clearing out our fringe players is the prob - they are on a lot of money, living in london, not exactly overly taxing, and clearly with v little ambition or drive.

Beckford would be good..... even if info may be out there it's always worth re-posting imho.
