Family Stand

Having the Loft as the Family Stand is the biggest atmosphere killer in our ground.

I know there are some valid reasons for it to be so, but the grounds where the "fanatical" home territory is behind the goal tends to be those with the best atmosphere.

Agreed, club should re-think this policy. No atmosphere in loft lower, even in the p block..

And the GOLD prices have forced a fair few of the more vocal fans out of The Loft, and they've just dispersed around the ground, in search of Silver prices.

It's a big reason for the lack of noise from that end of the ground these days.

Nope............ put it in Ellerslie right next to the School End, where there's the most empty seats.

Used to be In Ellerslie Road, a couple of blocks away from the away end. Thats where it should be.

I have posted this many times - Family stand behind the goal is just the wrong way to go.

I always used to sit in the Loft and atmoshere was really good. Not only that, but as it is central - chants from other areas like Q block etc can easily carry through the ground. Now, there is a gap and chante do not spread.

It's like the royalbox during a mexican wave.....a dead spot! :very_sad:
