spot on robbo, the 2 holding players, with the front 4 allowed the freedom to roam and interchange, also one of the holding players in turn to bomb forward, giving us 5 in attack but then also 5 in defence to stop any counter attacks

If Mahon is 100% fit, I wouldn't object to seeing him play in place of Faurlin.
I'd just go with Faurlin, but I'd be ok with any two of those three - Watson, Mahon, Faurlin.

But that's a compliment to Mahon, rather than a dig at Faurlin... who has been superb for weeks, apart from about an hour against Leicester.

But you could say that about almost all of them.

Watson has to hold and protect the back four and allow the other four midfield players to play free roles and support OJ.

Faurlin is a very good little player. The ONLY reason I wouldn't play him tonight is because he doesn't seem to get on with the aggressive part of English football, or Leicester. He'll get bullied tonight and that'll effect his passing. If we were playing a West Brom, Cardiff, Doncaster side who although have agressiin prefer to knock the ball about, I'd take Faurlin as a starter all day.

Mahon and watson will be desperately needed as they'll not be flustered by being pressured.
