Last season in the Champ,before the went down into League 1,he got 3 goals all season.Seems now he has come on leaps and bounds.

Be nice to see if Beckford or Jackson could make the step up wearing a hooped shirt.

BTW, I noticed Lee Barnard turned 1 point into 3 for Southend tonight, in the 92nd minute. That's 12 for the season already.
"Only 3rd division" though, so "not good enough" for us then. Like Fryatt would have been 6 months ago.

These players obviously have the natural talent,they just need the chance and a manger to persevers and show faith in them.

Problem today is manger's,especially ours,don't get the chance to blood potential youngsters into the team.

Absolutely spot on, our C/Bs were caught ball watching for the first goal, and he was given the ball for the second, good finish though.

He still had to score them. Shocking defending for the 1st but he had the instinct to attack it and the finess to guide it in. The second was even better. He read the pass, took a great touch and was able to position himself to bend it round Cerny. Top class goal.

Both were good finishes but any striker should finish chances like that, even Pellicori could've scored both of those!

Awful? How exactly is he awful? A bucket load of goals last season and 7 so far this season!

We do have a quality striker though in Simpson.
