S****horpe want Mahon as part of any Hooper deal

Hooper is not that good, I would not insult Mahon with a deal like that. With injuries and suspentions who better than Mahon to step in and do the business. Some people just don't realise what we have.

Strange one to argue about.It's a squad game now days and it appears that Mahon is quite willing(at his age) to fill in when required.When he has filled in he has done a superb job.Why get rid of him?I suppose you could put legs in there but seems to be a no brainer for me.

If we are serious about promotion then we need a decent size squad. We should bid money for Hooper and not sacrafice losing an important squad player for the sake of it. Mahon is a decent player who can fill in when Watson or Fraulin are injured and he might just might be a 1st team player in Jims eye's. I think he is a leader and a good captain for that reason he might become the 1st name on the teamsheet it all depends on how Jim see's it. Another win tomorrow and it will be hard to just drop him.
