Any truth in the Edgar Davids rumours?

Just had a text from a mate that we are going to run the rule over him due to Rowlands being out for the season. Is there any truth in this people?

he is 36 and past it so I am sure it is rubbish
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I fear this could be very true... it is known he has been talking to CCC clubs, and it is also known Flav has always wanted to attract a big name player (possibly regardless of whether thay can improve the team or not).

He may have heard about Davids being on the lookout and sees it as a relatively cheap option for a big name and more publicity across Europe... potentially could help attract some decent players if we get promoted also.

There could be something here, although i agree he is past it and hasn't played for ages either i don't think, but if he worked on fitness who knows.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Davids hasn't kicked a ball in anger since the end of the 2007/2008 season........what exactly is going to add to the team at 36 years of age and having not played in a year?

He would be another pointless signing similar to that of Tomassi last season. He would play a handful of games then be released for not being good enough.

                    Leicester are welcome to him!

Tarbie I agree with you fella. Would be a bad signing considering his age and the fact he hasn't played regular competitive football in over a year.

He's 36 and way past it, i'd rather we didn't have him.
