        hooper > beckford

we have a similar type player in simpson why get two of the same?

hooper should have been the signing which replaced blackstock.

        Lovejoy: "No?!"

Beckford is over-rated, Hooper would cost a lot less because there is no media bonerfest over him (unlike Jermaine) and also Leeds would be in a position to turn down good offers however I think S****horpe wouldnt be in the financial state to reject a good offer of £1.5-2m

I'd be very happy with either.

            More so Beckford.
I find it quite hard to turn my nose up at a 25 year old, six foot two, pacey striker, with 55 goals in 94 games at a big club.
Maybe I'm a bit weird like that?!

But I'd say Hooper is more likely.
From what I've seen (went to Scunny), and his goal record - he's a very good option.

depends how quick hooper is?we need a striker with bundles of pace to keep up with our other players as we now have pace in the side

personally think we need them both

Simpson looks a very good loan player, but that's all we've got up front add Beckford & Hooper & that's some serious competition for our forwards, 3 quality strikers is what is needed at a club who wants to go up.
