    Captain's performance

A huge shout out to Stewart last night, he really stepped up and put in a performance as Captain. He was solid on Saturday and even better last night. The Rock

Stewart was top class last night. Won everything in the air, was composed on the ball playing it simple and made some quality last ditch blocks etc. A shout for MOM

Stewart and gorkks were both fantastic!!!

Stewart made a fantastic last ditch tackle! Which surely saved us a goal!

I'm still not his biggest fan. Too inconsistant and lacks concentration.

Glad he's playing well again, but I won't hold my breath for it to continue.

As I always stated, he has the atributes to be a world class defender with his areal ability, pace, strength and ability to make great tackles, but concentration is so vital in todays game which is what lets him down. If he sorts that out, he'll be superb.
            Your mum would love me...

I agree with Benny on this one. I would like to see Connelly when fit back playing alongside Gorkks
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I agree, I think Stewart was fantastic last night, he put a few excellent tackles and blocks when it looked like Reading would get a shot away. Probably mym MOTM actually although there were a few to choose from....

That's my point really - having the armband has the potential to detract from the job in hand. But last night he maintained 100% concentration throughout and played a blinder too.

Maybe the armband concentrated his mind...
