Well if this ridiculous spat has had the effect of uniting everyone then I'm truly happy.There are too many divisions in this damn world as it is.

Where do you draw the line though? Why not surf not606, dotorg, Report, Indyrs etc too while you're at it? And don't even mention Tw@tter, FaceFark and Insta$hite

There aren't enough hours in the day for me to follow all the forums. As a result I suffer from an inability to accurately gauge the overall mood of the fan-base! Am I bothered? Like fark I am. One forum is plenty ta!

I belong to a couple of the ones on Facebook as I suppose I must have asked to join them once or perhaps I got added my someone and to be honest for the most part they do my head in with notifications and constant digging out of each others sites

Yes you're of course correct to draw a distinction between online and offline Jack. Although I'd have thought the overwhelming majority of fans who attend games would have some form of online presence? Probably mainly social-media though and less on forums which are perhaps more of a non-millennial demographic. Would make an interesting survey.

Funnily enough I often ask the people I chat to on the journeys to and from the games and people who sit around me at various times. I have found that an awful lot go on the forums but don't actually post i.e. are lurkers.
I am not sure if you would have stats on this from IP addresses maybe but I get the feeling there are a lot of people like that.

You can see how many visitors (lurkers) on the main page.
Currently there are 116 visitors (lurkers) and only a handful of members logged in.
On match day, the visitors (lurkers) can be 200+.
Obviously, depending what time of Hitmans month it is, can skew the above numbers; after all we are all drawn to a live drama

There are moments early in the morning UK time where your presence dissapears for a short while; I usually put that down to your uber Windows 95 rig doing a routine blue screen
