I'm a big Clint fan and I definitely like the idea of this but it does seem a little risky - shades of the ollie appointment about 'getting our club back' - is there any evidence that he'd actually make a decent coach?

playoff final, made his own defensive substitution bringing park on and taking himself off.

that sacrifice alone and ordering redcrapp to do it won me over for life.

love him, want him back and making other decisions for our club again.

I would love this I really would but playing devils advocate we moaned about a coach with experience from lower leagues not being good enough so how would coach with no experience be improvement smacks of double standards!!!!

Saying that however f uck it bring Clinton home and sort this mess out big man

If he comes back and makes a go of it then, as we are all supposed to be realistic about our club now, he would potentially be our next manager.

Not yet his time.Needs experience in lower leagues first. Bring him home and we could all end up Les Miserables.

Usually I would agree Davie. But there is something about Clint that I think would really work.
As stated above, his act of selflessness at the P.O. Final, shows the type of character he is, and that is the type of mentality that we need in our club. Professional, loyal, committed and an amazing work ethic.

@stuart_stamp @AllAboutRs1882 @Robboqpr78 Managers usually go for people who they have worked with before. I haven't really worked with him so I can't see it happening to be honest with you pal.

To me that looks more like a “I’d love too but it’s not up to me”
Come on Les, don’t let someone else nick him first.

Steve Boyle is ex arsenal legend and defence coach and goober fans don't rate him at all now. So why would Clint be different
