    Furlong Onuoha Robinson Bidwell
    Wszolek Mass Scowen Freeman

Why not go back to the old days and play 4-4-2 eh?

A good idea IMO. Thats the QPR way of playing football, isnt it?

I would play Smith and Smyth against Barnsley. Smith because he isn`t expected to start.

Is Smyth fit? I'd go with the OP, except start Big Smith alongside Little Smyth.

Yes club physio has said smyth is fully fit for Barnsley game, got to start him in that case.

4-4-2 would probably help Furlong with his game. He could concentrate on becoming a better defender without having to worry about being a winger. He's mobile and athletic enough to be a good wingback but first he needs to be a good fullback.

It must break his little heart that Mackie is out for the season.

Pawel Wszolek and Paul Smyth have been passed fit for QPR’s game against Barnsley.

Wszolek missed Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Bristol City after taking a knock to the head during a friendly match a few days before the game.

Smyth scored the winner against Cardiff on his debut on New Year’s Day but has since struggled with a thigh strain.

Both players are in the squad for this weekend’s game at Loftus Road, with boss Ian Holloway planning to make changes, particularly up front.

Conor Washington and youngster Aramide Oteh both played and scored in the recent win at Burton but Rangers have since struggled – they lost at Bristol City despite their opponents playing with 10 men for most of the game.

Striker Idrissa Sylla remains sidelined with a calf problem.

Change Luongo or Scowen for Manning (a forward ball playing Central midfielder) and that is the side I'd start with EVERY game until the end of the season.

Furlong out injured, id drop scowen for manning too, be interesting to see how many changes he makes and if hollowhead has lost the players after slagging them off, my worry today is can we score as i cant see a clean sheet coming today.
