    Not on plastic pitch memories but same era. Watford away mid week game, Elton John singing passengers on pitch. We all singing he's bald , he's bent his A R S E is up for rent. He blew us a kiss at end

      banter could be banter back then. Living near Brighton used to be some great but simple banter:

      We can see you holding hands for example.

      You get kicked out of the ground for that nowadays! People just seem to want to be offended.

        FA cup 6th round 82,Clive Allen running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the Palace fans when he scored . Everyone on the pitch celebrating at the end ,then Palace coming on too, old bill on horses and it was all going off alarming ,outside too.

              I remember going to the Withdean the year we won automatic under Ollie.
              P!ssed myself when the away end broke into “Stand up, cause you can’t sit down”
              Fair enough it’s a bit childish but doesn’t that apply to most football chants.

                          That 82 /83 promotion season on the plastic was special , the last few home games v Leicester , Fulham , Leeds and wolves it seemed like we invaded the pitch every week , kicked off big time with wolves down by corner of the ellersie and away end .

                                Coventry was good I mean bad at home.some er naughty people bashed them all over south Africa stand b4 game started. Shocking shocking shocking.that we I mean they walked out and just paid in another part of ground lol
