problem is, i cannot see knobhead breaking up the middle three for a 442 formation which most want.

obviously, i would stick him up alongside smith or sylla.

best chace to see what he could have done was in the cup, but knobhead stuck with that shyte 352.
Agree perfect opportunity missed to move away from a failing system. Especially as he was playing a strong team.

What stood out to me sitting there on Saturday was MK scouts have probably watched us a couple of times only if that and they already had us figured out.

After first 15 mins they sat back and went narrow and watched us run out of ideas. Allowed Cousins and in particular Bidwell all the space that they wanted because they knew he would do nothing with it. He’s a full back not a winger. He can overlap and put in a (often poor) cross but he cant take anyone on and neither can Cousins.

If MK can see that having hardly seen us I cant understand why Olly cant!!

If you’re playing him right of a front three so essentially on the wing you massively reduce the goal scoring opportunities for him, put the emphasis on him to deliver crosses and put the onus on him to track the opposition fall back. Cant see it doing him any good having him making tackles down by our penalty box.

He is however deserving of opportunities to play as one of the front two. Playing him out of position would do no one any good.

Although I would start Sylla over Smith in a 4-3-3 because Smith lacks way too much movement.

I always find the Sylla debate confusing. Every time hes played in a 4-3-3 and gets service he scores! So bloody play 4-3-3!
This, but Holloway doesn't like Sylla.
