Very true but the bottom line is the manager is here ! He inherited a slap dash squad of players that have just came in as numbers with no thought character in some but no thought to the Ballance of the squad ie how many wingers ? punters complain about not being played why ? Could it not be they arnt good enough or wrong sort , how many midfielders that arnt getting a game ? plus the young bucks trying to make headway , yes also very true he isn't getting consistency could that be he has an inconsistent squad of players 50% of not good enough , imo he's half way there and should remain for the rest of the season ! one thing I am certain of when he goes he will leave a better squad of players than he found

Ollie has not set up an adequate squad according to its playing strength (his obsession with WBs being the obvious example).
As a result, we've had inadequate performances. Simple as that.
Football is not that complicated. You have to set up to suit your resources. I understand Naz not getting this (under JFH he insisted it should be the other way round) but Ollie not getting it is unforgivable.

Sadly poor displays have not been unusual the last 14 months. A big weakness Ollie has is making positive changes during games and he is often shown up by opposition managers who outwit him and do make good changes.
At the beginning of the season things worked in our first few home games when he would put on Smith and lump ball in to force result. Unfortunately teams got wise to that and it hasn't worked to anything like that degree since. Unfortunately that is his only plan b and if Smith starts there is no plan b at all.
Not saying all his fault. Players should have done better but buck stops with manager, particularly one who can be measured over a period of time such as here.
