Have to agree. We have this weird obsession with having to have people in the club who’ve played for us or are in some way connected. Almost like that qualifies them. It doesn’t and we’ve got to get away from this sentimental ########. Is he the right man for the job? At the moment probably not

Don’t know why people seem to think that these paid professionals actually care about our club more than the next one. Yes they may have good memories from playing for us but do you think they lost any sleep during the Faurlin saga? They’ve moved on and so should we. Invite them back for a nice round of applause but don’t offer them the managerial job because you have this misguided belief that they’re “Rangers through and through”.

This is so right James. All this BS about loving clubs is pathetic. Gone are the days when you played for your local club and managers stayed for years. It's a well paid job where you can enjoy yourself and often get paid off handsomely for failure. The only people who are 'through and through' are the supporters who put up with the ups and downs.........and being messed about by ****ing Sky.

Guess that counts out Terry Francis, Sean Berry, and Cliff Hill too. But in TF's desire to please the fans, might he consider former players?
