Seems he started his career in central midfield but is typically used as a centre half these days. Can't see us needing a holding midfielder. If there is any legs in the story I'd wonder whether this might be a replacement for Ned, who I'd suspect would be allowed to leave if a bid came in for him.

I think I've seen him playing left back or wing back for Burton actually, can't really remember, but it makes sense in that case..

That Naylor has played defensive mid for their last 6 games and scored 3 goals. Played most of his games last season in defensive mid but has played some games at CB and RB. Out if contract in summer. Cheap utility player

But can he play Wing Back?
