No one is saying we're watertight, but with a threadbare defence we've only conceded 3 goals in 4 games, 2 of those against very good strike forces. I'd say that's pretty successful.

Sorry west but I have to go with ginge on this one. As a defender you're never going to stop chances but its the glaring mistakes that seem to have been corrected
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Not maoning as I’m happy how it’s going. But we do still offer sides chances and that includes from mistakes WeAre

I would not be rushing Ned nor Hall back into the side Baps and Robs doing creditable job

Yeah true but when I mean mistakes I guess I am referring to major calamity ones that give smithies zero chance

Agree on Ned mate, disagree on Hall. Best defender we have in my opinion. Will be a good headache to have when those 2 plus Perch return though.

Main thing is when all our CBs and CMs are fit those positions are the least of our problems.

hall is our best defender, he's cool and composed , where as ned looks awkward and clumsy and has that big mistake in him , sometimes i watch ned and say to myself ' don't do that ' because u can see him about to do it before he does . i suppose it's years of watching him . his attributes are his power and strength but he lose concentration far to easily

Assuming we are playing 3-5-2 I'd go with a back 3 of Hall, Robinson & Baptiste. Personally I prefer a back 4, I'd slot Perch in at right back once fit, or Furlong if not. Robinson would be first choice at left back, with Bidwell as back up. Although based on what I've seen in the last few games, I suspect Robinson is actually more suited to playing centre half.

Would just be nice to have options after half a season of having to pick who is fit at the back. Big questions marks as to whether we will see Hall again anytime soon however, so it's all academic.

Personally wouldn't have Robinson at LB again this season. First choice LCB for me all day long.

Yeah I agree. Ollie is gonna have a headache trying to choose between Baptiste, Robinson and Hall for the CB spots.

Also (IMO) hard to drop Lynch as he was immense against Wolves.

Can't work Lynch out myself. I thought he was great when he first showed up, 6 months later he looked totally out of his depth, and now he's playing well again.
