Agreed. also it is interesting that a lot of those players were signed under Hughes, and he repeated similar nonsensical signings at Stoke a year ago. So perhaps we shouldn't be so harsh on Fernandes for being taken in by Hughes and later on Redknapp. Yes, he could have said no, but he didn't

Indeed. Plus you dont really get an idea until eight games in or so. Which was the point at which our season effectively ended in terms of being in contention, as the chart makes clear.

Ollie has had a generous crack of the whip and although stats can be misleading, after the best part of two years you get a decent idea of the reality.

Someone needs to tell Bungle that if he's getting rid, now is the time. Absolutely no point in delay.
