      Baptiste knows how to defend and does the basics very well. He could well become a very valuable player for us a bit like Ryan Nelson was a few year ago. Bought as xover but finds himself in the team week in week out.

        Problem is that defenders take time and so do defensive units. But once they're settled you're in business.

        Furlong looks a prospect for me. Baptiste ditto. As I've said on here many times, I'd buy us playing and developing a young side even if it means lower half.

        But if we're serious re development we have to try them. Eze for instance was shipped out to Wycombe and has hardly had a kick since.
