Sorry you cannot live in the past. He was a good,brave player for us but at his age he is just past it. It wouldn't take long for the keyboard warriors to start on him. Why should he ruin his legacy.

What I think is a big shame is someone of these players do not drop down the divisions as much anymore, I remember seeing Kenny Sansom, Graham Roberts, Micky Droy, Clive Walker all playing in Non-league football and really giving something to young players at that level. I can not think of one of the Beckham era players dropping down?

Would be good to see Sinclair, Hill and maybe a few others playing non-league !

Probably a case of having to, they didn't have the opportunity of building up a nice little pension pot.

To me the suggestion is that he was training with whatever club it is, before Hull's loss.

But why shouldn't it be us? As a start we could offer him a guaranteed first team start. (In every one of our cup games!)

Still think he would be an asset to the club in a coaching/mentoring role, and I don't think he'd let us down in competitive games.

Not sure how he felt when he left us. But he is definetly good enough for us.
