You've clearly got out of the wrong side of the bed but I can tell you now that the club will still be paying his wages. Do you think insurance kicked in when diakite who was more of a genuine case had problems, no of course not! No company would touch footballers on ridiculous money its just common senseI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Clubs do have Insurance policies for injuries so your initial response was needlessly patronising.Originally posted by WeAreQPR12 View PostYou've clearly got out of the wrong side of the bed but I can tell you now that the club will still be paying his wages. I work in insurance - yay for me :(
although i have had limited dealings regarding sports clubs etc my very basic understanding of it is that if you have a physical injury you can claim. Now, having alcoholism or gambling addiction i would suggest wouldn't be covered, but if claimed under a mental illness as proximate cause that might be a different story.
AGAIN, not saying that's what he's doingMy old man never said be a Chelsea fan...

It appears to be a mental problem as he attempted suicide.Last edited by jmelanie; 04-07-2017, 12:41 PM.

As harsh as it may sound, I just hope that sentence is followed by "for someone else"
