forest and cardiff have a transfer embargo because they breached ffp without achieving promotion in the season they broke the rules.
a fine is only applied when the team is promoted to the premier league in the season where the ffp rules were broken - hence why people think we should have one, and why bournemouth had one when they got promoted. (i think bournemouth are still the only team to actually pay the fine)Comment

So it's double punishment fine and embargo??? That can't be tightforest and cardiff have a transfer embargo because they breached ffp without achieving promotion in the season they broke the rules.

no. it's a single punishment.
- if you break ffp and get promoted in that season you receive a fine and no embargo.
- if you break ffp and don't get promoted in that season you receive an embargo and no fine.
the rules are slightly unclear if you break ffp and get relegated in that season (which is yet to happen), but it's a fair bet that it'd be an embargo and no fine.Comment

So the 2 weeks suggested has well passed and still no news.
Ridiculous that it should take 3 years to resolve.
Do we think the 3 man panel are still considering their verdict or that they made their decision and either We or the EFL are unhappy with the outcome ?Comment

Would love to see the how much those 3 men have cost the EFL compared to the income the 3 have generated (in fines I guess) over the last 3 years.Comment

Agreed to that...Comment

Four weeks now and counting this whole situation is becoming boring, does anyone have a clue what is going on.
It would be nice if the club let the fans know for christ sake,Comment

Absolute joke mate. Any snippet of news would be nice. Wouldn't be surprised if it was all done and dusted weeks ago and they just haven't said anything.Top Scorers 2018/2019

Maybe your right Ginger and they are not announcing that we have an embargo until they have squeezed every last punter
into getting a season ticket

Said it before Bill it suits the club to let run as long as possible , so they keep to lower end dealing and the fans accept dross and still buy S/Ts all you have to is look at two and a half years crap wasting the parachute and still punters praise Les for doing a great jobComment
-
Excellent effort by club in my view. They have stood their ground and not backed off nor been bullied by a big organisation and stood firm for three years. We should be praising them not criticising
Of course we're not withholding outcome, we have dome dozy fans if you genuinely think that. Do you think if decision has been made we have the power to tell the FL (governing organisation) they can't put news out because we want to trick our fans
Come on if the FL have won they will be releasing a press release asap claiming victory against big spending clubs
And fans counting down the weeks expecting outcome what's that based on official release from club or FL or local rag speculating.Comment
- It has become an absolute farce now hasn't it Bill? 3 years to resolve this is a joke.
