Goss although can pass was very lightweight in the tackle v Villa. Needs to realise there is a difference between pinging a ball about in the U23s and get stuck in where it hurts.
Saying this I have high hopes for him.

Think we really need to give this a go. I'd like to see him surprise a few and go 4-3-3 with ball. Brighton sometimes sit deep instead of pressing, like all teams that do that they're vulnerable to anyone who can go past on a regular basis. We have no one with that kind of skill anymore but if we can get the ball near the byeline we'll have a chance, hence 4-3-3 (4-5-1 their ball). I like the closely related 4-1-2-3 because that gives more width.
