I think the 'persuasion' would have been very straight forward and JFH would have been happy to stay on at Burton. I also think that QPR would have gone on to get a place in the play offs, if not better with Warnock at the helm last season.

Now we can watch Warnock's Cardiff side beat QPR on Saturday and they will make a late push for this season's play offs and push on next season.

Great result today stanis btw, feels good doesnt it!

Good old Neil he's never bitter but he is telling truth of yesterday. Played bit of direct stuff with him in charge to with Hieder up top

Particularly so, with so little width in yesterday's side. Different with Lua Lua and Pawel playing.

Probably a little upset as that was their tactic too , just ours worked better. That and our bench is far better.

Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million

Think your Ollie OCD is kicking in mate your reading into something which is not there. Your correct I have no issue winning ugly in a perverse way I kind of prefer it. Saturday I just described how the game was going and that we were playing long ball which Warnock also said. Me posting what Warnock said was actually in defence of Ollie hence comparison to Helguson as Warnock also got the ball quickly too so felt he had some front criticising us when he's well known himself for doing it

You don't always have to go looking for an angle or undertone in every post we're winning I'm enjoying it you should too

Perhaps Warnock didn't prepare well enough for the game because it certainly isn't long ball all the time. But, like I said on another thread, on Saturday Ollie out Warnocked Warnock and that is very pleasing because it was the best way to get the points against the team he set up
