That sounds a more realistic fee. Sky were reporting yesterday that it was going to be £1 million when he only had 6 months left on his contract!

This was my main issue with the deal.
500K is a far more realistic figure.
Smith has signed so I hope he can be a success here.

IMO we've very much bought a League 1 striker/second string Championship striker.

He's young though, so I hope he does well - I'll have patience with him. We all have to realise we aren't signing the quality of a few years ago.
