Yeah, wishfull thinking I suppose, really like the look of him and Ollie was speaking highly of him during his time as a Sky pundit, not been as prolific for Huddersfield this term. Only chance would be if he fancied the bright lights of London but whack in a bid of 3 mill to test the water, nothing ventured nothing gained.

£8m for Wells is laughable, wouldn't pay a penny over £3m. Would be the perfect type for us mind.

I suspect if they wanted to sell it would push 15m in the end for him as a number of clubs would take him in a heartbeat, a bit like Rhodes untested at the top level but if you are in the top 6-8 can score the goals to get you up or into the play-offs.

I wondered when this thread would start again with the window opening up. We don't have a chance in hell of getting him if he left because we are too shite and he would cost too much. Pie in the sky thinking.
