At least he has scored over a few seasons not half a season like Washington.

Nah defo centre forward mate. More of an Austin type striker than a Washington

This one and another more experienced CC-striker is an option an outsider like me would go for. Also; maybe we could "offer" Millwall CW?

He did score some good goals as well, however I do wonder how much he will be able to score in the Championship.

if we don't get in quick someone else will , CW has no end product , he's had lots of game time now . sometimes u just have to put your hands up and say this hasn't worked , for the price millwall are asking i'd bite their hand but quickly

Does have a touch of Austin about him but 28 yrs old and hasn't played higher than league 1? Must be a late bloomer.

When your strikers are as prolific as ours, someone to be in the right place at the right time for a few tap in's would be wonderful.

                            That was my first thought.

For 1.5m he's well worth the risk.

I agree we need to look at someone who can score in this league but who?
Rhodes would be out of our price range.

                              Where's Rickie Lambert play now?
He would be worth bringing in, but would still want someone else as well!!

Eh? Loads of charlies goals were tap ins. And penalties. Thats what strikers do they score goals. Good goals, scrappy goals, goals with their #### it really doesn't matter. Good strikers have that instinct that you can't teach its all about being in the right place at the right time. For 1.5 mill its a no brainer
