Is it the same mate who told you Dack was signing?
I can see a player in Conor, I'd like to keep him and see if it works out. Unlike Polter who from the first day I saw him knew he was a donkey.

Unless we have strikers lined up, we should not be getting rid of the ones we have.

Fordy as you could see totally agree. Washington is a class act who would do v well with a side that plays to his strength. He has great movement and a good footballing brain. If he went I'd imagine we will end up kicking ourselves.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He's not set the world alight by any means, but unless we are going to be bringing in two top class strikers, proven in this division or above, then he needs to stay.

Errrrrr.. Charlie Austin did alright with no service. If a striker is that good they often can load up on scraps.

I hear you can pick up strikers like that for £4 mil

Austin had better players in midfield than we have now and he is a different sort of striker.

I'd rather get some money for Washington and use the funds to go all out and get Lansbury from Forest. We are really weak/crap in central midfield and needs improving.

Brighton we've had many battles away from footballing topics and had some major arguments but when its football related you v rarely if at all get it wrong. We don't follow the herd yet 3 months later most posters tend to realize we were spot on.

He's not been given a chance but he is one of very few saleable assets and I think we need to cash in to get players. Priority has to be a leader and midfield. Lansbury fits the bill. Sell Washington, buy Lansbury and make him captain.

Maybe there could be some truth in it?
Grimsby have opened talks to sign Brandon Comley apparently, now Ollie and Marcus Bignot do know each other well so maybe hes asking about their striker Omar Bogle?
So off load Washington for Bogle?
This wouldnt effect the Grabban deal thats probably coming from the Chery/Polter/Sandro money?
                        Just a thought?

Totally different. Charlie was phenonomonal, but he couldn't run on to a through ball....

If only life in general was that cut and dry. I used to think like you at a similar age but you have to not always blame the player. He hasn't been given a fair crack and you can't expect many goals playing on the wing, unless you're a god from Madeira
