    Would he be useful loan to end of season not getting game time at Newcastle, he is 33 so not one for the future.

              Hasn't he banged them in regularly for Ipswich the last few seasons before he joined Newcastle? His scoring record is good at this level isn't it?

                  50 goals in 123 games for Ipswich think that's good enough.

                                      Good player. Big, strong, old fashioned type centre forward.

                                      My problem would be I think we'd struggle to get him sufficient service. We create v v little.

                                                          Personally think polter and Sylla are more then capable if we put decent balls into the box regularly. Don't matter who we bring in to play up top if the ball does not make the box the forward won't score
