If they are so wonderful, why haven't they scored more goals? Simple as that really.

Get more crosses and passes into the box and we'll get goals. Too much fcking about outside the box for this level

Personally think even if we do that, the strikers we have don't have the quality to take their chances.

The reason we're struggling is because we don't have a goalscorer. Having a goalscorer at least gives you a chance, we saw that when we had Charlie here.

We've seen it happen and it's stopped.

When Polter gets the type of ball he likes, he scores. You can't score when your back is facing the net, or a dodgy pass that's not through on goal.

Have to disagree with that mate, a big striker like him should be able to play with his back to goal and score more often. He doesn't score enough or create his own opportunities enough - he's a back to goal type striker anyway IMO.

Just like Sylla and Washington, just not enough quality currently to be a top striker in this division.

Rotherham have 10 points this season and their striker, Danny Ward, has more goals than any of our players...

Not always mate. I know you like him but that's simply not true. He's a player of quite limited ability. Fans can be mislead because he's a big strong guy who's scored a few goals, loves the club and plays with passion - but the bottom line is he's a player of quite limited ability who's at an age now where he's not really going to improve further. His career goalscoring record is quite poor. He'll never reach the class of an Austin for example.

That's true Stan but not 100% true yes he is of limited ability there he totally relies on service and with the right constant service he would capable of better than 15 goals a season which would be an asset

Exactly this. And it's probably best if you don't take off the winger when you put Polter on.

Genuinely don't think we'd get more goals with more crosses into the box.

A lot of the debate for me is the group strikers we have not having enough quality to finish.

                          sylla needs to be starting.

our top goalscorer and he is on the bench ffs.

Start with Sylla and Washington as a pair, a front 2 and get crosses into them from the flanks by playing 2 wingers! The team is desperate for some width! Play the Polish international Wszolek and either Ngakboto or Shodipo to supply the ammunition. Come on you R'rs!!!

Havent all of Sylla's goal come from crosses into the box (Fulham, Bristol City, Forest, Huddersfield)? I could be wrong though...

You are right, when talking about Sylla.
