    Rotherham - team news

Jamie Mackie has resumed training with the rest of the QPR squad as he closes in on a return to action. Mackie has not featured this season, having suffered ankle ligament damage in July. He sustained the injury in training while coming back from a long-term hamstring problem. Mackie, 31, joined the squad on Monday as they prepared for this weekend’s match against Rotherham.

But Jack Robinson, who aggravated a hamstring problem during Thursday’s home defeat against Wolves, did not take part in the session. Rangers are hoping that Robinson will recover in time to be available for the Rotherham game.

I'd say he's a bona fide Matthew Rose....

While on the other hand, an injury-free Jamie Makie might be just what our attack needs?

I wouldn't say he's quite at that level yet, but only because age is on his side. Rosey was a fair bit older than Jack is now when he played. Thought he was quite good for us too when he wasn't injured.

For me Makie plays through the middle of not at all. Between him and Denzil CB would not get minutes peace

Rose was so frustrating. But like Chery. Class one minute, pants the next.

So that's where the Poles have been. Injured. Ollie still got something against them?

Yeah, they are only injured because he kicked them in training Ginge

Mackie on the bench coming on for the last 10 minutes wrapped in cotton wool.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles
