The board give the fans and new man a clear indication of their aim and then take it from there. I would prefer time to be taken to get the right man and let him build.

Never but we are no longer spunking dough all over the place so the new man will need to build while still competing. Can be done as long as the powers that be stick to the plan throughout.

Did it start with promotion when he joined? But we then sold Charlie so must have changed and as for this season who knows because at no stage have we looked like a team who were any better than bottom 8 or 9.

Think you need to give a manager time to change and get his players in(not the players the DOF wants) JFH had his time bought in some of the players he wanted not good enough
so probably get the rest of the season so long as we're not worse or relegated under him and if there are good signs of improvement (unlike JFH) he carries on

depends on who it is... certain managers will be lucky to last 45 minutes on the pitch before some of the usual suspects begin their "insert-name OUT" threads. most are unlikely to get more than 3 months if things don't go well on the pitch.

we like the idea of stability, but lack the patience for it.
