Sorry to be so pedantic on this but I don't think anyone here actually knows the reality, because rolling contracts mean different things to different people. If it was a true rolling contract with a one year pay off then the December date would be meaningless - ieyou can sack at anytime (or he could walk at anytime) but there would be a one year pay off. That is a true rolling contract. If it was anchored to a date it wouldn't be a rolling contract, it would be an annual contract.

We've had so many opinions in at least three different threads I'd love to know the reality.
