We've spent plenty and plenty more than clubs like Brentford, Huddersfield and Barnsley and they seem ok making mugs out of us.

Problem isn't the budget, but the (poor)personnel and (lack of)infrastrucure.

Yes but Barnsley, Brentford, Huddersfield ,, all teams that put us to the sword, have not had the priveledge of two sets of parachute payments.

I agree we somewhat squandered money with some of the signings but it was mostly on wages not transfer fees,,,

Get the right manager in and use some of the remaining parachute payments to improve the squad where needed..

Failure to do this will result in more tears as our team continues its free fall ,,,,

Capitalise now whilst we still can with an air of prudentcy thrown in
